The search continued Saturday for Karen Nichols, missing from Henry County since April 13. Friends and family passed out fliers all over the metro area, and have not yet given up hope on finding Nichols alive and well.

Nichols, 48, is the executive director and founder of "Chosen Heirs, Inc.," a mentoring program for young girls. The group is in the process of raising money for a summer trip to South Africa. It's a trip friends pray she'll still be able to make come mid-June.
"Karen was supposed to meet with those girls Saturday morning and did not arrive, and no one heard from her, something that's very uncharacteristic of her," Mackey added.

Henry County authorities have located Karen Nichols, missing since April 13, at a hotel in Peach County. They report that she is apparently unharmed.
Nichols told Henry County Police that she left home of her own accord and was unaware of the intensive, public search going on throughout the week.
Detectives were still speaking with Nichols on Sunday night, and hoped to have more information on Monday.
