Alec Baldwin Suffers 57,867th Worst Day

Alec Baldwin apologized Friday for his angry voicemail to his daughter, blaming the stress of his custody fight with Kim Basinger and insisting: "I have a normal relationship with my daughter."
I would hardly call a relationship "normal" when you are caught on tape saying the things to your daughter that he said, unless of course, he normally yells and screems and cusses at his daughter, then I guess he just might be acting normal.
I, however, would call that verbal abuse. It is not normal for someone to talk to another person the way he did. Of course the tape was leaked, violating a court order, and I have no idea if the tape was "doctored" in any way. So I have to take Mr. Baldwin's word as fact. He has a normal relationship with his daughter, and he says,
"your opponents attempt to take a picture of you on your worst day and insist that this is who you are as a person"
Hmm. Is it just me or hasn't Mr. Balwdin had a few too many "worst days"?
In April of 2006, Jan Maxwell, an acclaimed New York theater actress quit an Off-Broadway play because Mr. Baldwin "created an unhealthy and oppressive situation" on stage and off.
According to press reports, Mr. Balwdin has "lashed out" on more than one occasion over the past several years. He has quite a reputation for these outbursts. They are "normal" for him.
His relationships with others, however, are anything but normal. They, by definition, cannot be normal because he is anything but normal.
Kim Bassinger has her own issues, but Alec Baldwin does not act like someone who is capable of raising a child in a stable home. That's my opnion anyway. I also think it doesn't matter. The poor girl is going to become an adult and move out long before these two ever get their act together.

Don't forget that Alec was on a talk show during the Clinton impeachment hearing and he said, screaming, that if we lived in Africa, quote, "We would stone Henry Hyde to death and we would go to their homes and we’d kill their wives and their children!"

Oh that's right! I forgot about that one…
Of course, he might think that's a completely normal thing to say.
