CBS + Integrity: An Oxymoron

"At the end of the day, the integrity of our company and the respect that you feel for CBS becomes the most important consideration," CBS chief Leslie Moonves said in a message to employees. He earlier had planned to suspend Imus for two weeks beginning Monday.
The move came after a day of pressure from voices as diverse as civil rights leader Jesse Jackson and Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy, speaking for the NFL's six black head coaches.
The integrity of their company? What?!? Is he serious? I guess he sort of forgot about that whole RatherGate incident huh?
Give me a break.
We all know integrity and respect had nothing to do with their decision. The involvement of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson pretty much guarantees that.
I, personally, would have had more respect for CBS, and Mr. Moonves, if he had stood his ground when the race-baiters came pounding at the door. What Imus did was wrong, but if CBS thinks he won't be more popular with his listeners now, they are crazy.

Forget RatherGate! The whole Kopy Katie bit went down at the same time as Don's Nappy Headed Ho fiasco.
The class learned today that plagiarists can steal anothers work AND keep their integrity as long as they cave to race baiting!
