Second Lynn Turner Trial Starts

The second murder trial for Lynn Turner continues on Tuesday. Turner faces the death penalty if convicted for poisoning her boyfriend Randy Thompson, a Forsyth County firefighter.

Thompson's death played a vital role in Turner's conviction three years ago in the anti-freeze poisoning death of her husband, Cobb County police officer Glenn Turner.

Special prosecutor Jack Mallard told the jury this is a case about lust, greed and murder involving one woman and two men.

This trial should almost mirror the Glenn Turner trial — the one significant difference: if convicted of killing Randy Thompson, Lynn Turner could be sentenced to death.

Talk about deja vu. I will be shocked if she is not convicted. If she gets the death penalty, they should poison her with ethelyne glycol (anti-freeze). It only makes sense.
