Stupid To A Whole New Level

Ain't it funny how John Kerry says his comment was just a "botched joke" and that he's sick and tired of "a whole bunch of Republican attacks" from "people who never wore the uniform" and "never had the courage to stand up and go to war themselves".

If it was just a botched joke, why hasn't he told us what he meant to say? Where is the text for this "joke" that got botched?

If Republicans are the only ones attacking him, does that mean everyone, who thinks he is a slime sucking leech for making the comment, is a Republican? My wife thinks his comments were uncalled for, and she definitely isn't a Republican.

If the attacks are coming from people who never wore the uniform or had the courage to stand up and go to war, does that mean he thinks everyone in the American Legion, AMVETS, and Vets For Freedom are cowards, and they never wore the uniform? I am pretty sure they all "wore the uniform" and "had the courage to stand up and go to war themselves".

He, and his fellow Democrats, are doing their best to paint this as a "Republican tactic".

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi added that Republicans are trying to exploit the troops by deliberately misinterpreting Kerry.

Deliberately misinterpreting Kerry? How. His comment was very clear.

"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

What part of that is being misinterpreted?

John Kerry and his Democratic colleagues must be pretty stupid to think we are all that stupid.
