Disclaimer: As an Active Christian Media book reviewer, I received a complimentary copy of this book to review. I have received no further compensation for writing this review.

This book consisted of quotes from Hillary Rodham Clinton. Not your average ordinary quotes mind you, but quotes that were filled with foul language and usually contradicted some other quote she made, some other time.

When I asked to review this book, I do not know what I was thinking. Honestly. I knew it was a book of quotes, nothing more. “Hillary Clinton in her own words”. What in the heck was I thinking?

The book was “good”, but Hillary was vulgar in parts, and I really don’t know what else to say about the book. Seriously.

While the book did point out a lot about Hillary’s dark side, and her foul mouth, I really don’t see it making much of a difference if she does decide to run for President, because, let’s face it, a great number of Americans are so used to politicians contradicting themselves and sounding like asses, they won’t even notice.

Then again, my favorite quote, from Michael Kinsley, was on page 152:

“I’m sick of talking about values, sick of pretending I have them or care more about them than I really do… When I want values, I go to Wal-Mart”.

He said that back in 2004. Did anyone in America still think Hillary Clinton had any values by 2004? Hilarious.

If you’re looking for a book of quotes, from Hillary, then you will like this book. I had a hard time with it (even though I knew what it was) because I find Hillary Clinton completely mind numbing. Thomas Kuiper did an excellent job with the material he had to work with.

Note: I have updated this post, as I received an email from the author of the book that the quote I used was actually made by Michael Kinsley, not Hillary Clinton. I am sure many would make this mistake. After 150 plus pages, my mind was numb at that point.

Here is another quote to tide you over (from page 86):

“You know, I’m going to start thanking the woman who cleans the restroom in the building I work in. You know, maybe that sounds kind of stupid, but on the other hand I want to start seeing her as a human being”.

I imagine working in THAT restroom takes superhuman strength.

    1. She doesn’t care about She doesn’t care about values? What kind of BS is that? As a mother, you would think she would have some care of values and try to instill them in her daughter while she was raising her. Or maybe because she is done raising her daughter she decided values weren’t for her anymore?

I will never vote for someone who blatantly admits that they have no care or need or use values. That’s not the type of person I want in the the Presidential position of role-model for my children.
