Georgia Voter ID Law On Hold… Again…

For now, Georgia voters will not be required to show a photo ID when they cast a ballot beginning Monday in the July primaries.

A Fulton County judge stopped enforcement of the state's photo voter ID law on Friday, declaring it an illegal impediment to the right to vote.

Former Democratic Gov. Roy Barnes had sought the action in a state court, arguing Thursday before Judge Melvin K. Westmoreland that requiring voters to show government-issued photo ID violated the state Constitution.

This is getting so old it's sickening. I would like to know how requiring photo ID (aka proving you are eligible to vote) in order to vote is an "impediment" to the right to vote? As a voter myself, I would like to know that my vote and every vote cast in the election is a legitimate one. Wouldn't you?

Not if you're a Democrat apparently. They are fighting tooth and nail to make sure this new law is not in place for the upcoming elections. Anyone wonder why that is?

Some people see dead people. Democrats vote them.

PS: For those of you boo-hoo'ers out there who want to start sniffling because poor grandma would be "put out" because she would have to get off her fat, muscadine eating, needlepointing, ass in order to obtain photo I.D., give it a rest. Grandma has to shop sometime, Grandma has to go to the bank sometime. Grandma obviously leaves her house sometime. If she didn't she wouldn't need to worry about voting now would she?
