About Those Gas Prices

Has anyone else noticed the "fluctuation" of gas prices lately? I'm not just talking about high prices, but the way they change from day to day? Or is this just happening in our area?

Last week for instance, I was going to fill up on Thursday when gas was $2.72, but I forgot. On Friday, I had to stop, else I might get stuck somewhere, and I paid $2.91. On Saturday when I ran to the store, it was back down to $2.77, and then yesterday, when I drove by, it was $2.84.

Sometimes I feel like I am playing the lottery. Did I buy my ticket (gas) at the right time, or did I lose (get screwed) again?

Here's an email I received today, which is probably a true story.

I went into the 7-11 gas station today and asked for five dollars worth of gas.

The clerk just farted and gave me a receipt.
