Secretary of State Cathy’s Cox’s campaign manager resigned on Wednesday amid allegations that he altered an online biography of Democratic opponent, Lt. Gov. Mark Taylor, according to a campaing official who spoke on condition of anonymity because Cox had not yet made an official announcement.

The official said Morton Brilliant offered Cox his resignation and she accepted.
