Lyn Nofziger Dies

Lyn Nofziger, a former spokesman for President Ronald Reagan and veteran Republican political operative, has died, according to a family friend.
Nofziger, 81, died at his home in Falls Church, Virginia, Eldon Girdner, a family friend, told Reuters.
The bearded political aide worked closely with many of the leading Republican politicians of the late 20th century, including former Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford.
