Kurt Busch Suspended

As any of you reading know, I have a few favorite drivers in NASCAR, and Kurt Busch is one of them.
Roush Racing put up with Kurt Busch's reputation for reckless driving on the track. When the defending Nextel Cup champion was accused of doing it in his own car, the team had seen enough.
Busch was suspended Sunday for the remainder of the NASCAR season after his run-in with police, who said he smelled of alcohol and was belligerent during a traffic stop Friday night.
"It's the last straw for Roush Racing," team president Geoff Smith said Sunday. "We're officially retiring as Kurt Busch's apologists, effective today."
He was acting like a jack-ass and he deserved the suspension. I am glad that Rousch Racing did it, because anyone who talks to the police the way Kurt did, needs a wake up call. Here's hoping for a "reformed" Kurt Busch next season.

I wasn't there so I can't say I wasn't there so I can't say I saw what happened, but from the race coverage and Kurt's behavior on camera, I think he is arrogant. Based on my knowledge of working for the criminal court system, sometimes the police embellish their police/arrest report. That said, often times when one is arrested and charged for a crime, one may have actually committed said crime or a less embellished version thereof.
Is arrogance a crime? No. But arrogance can lead to behavior that can tend to get the arrogant arrested. Based on Kurt's behavior on camera and on air, and the statements of those people who are around Kurt, I am tending to believe that his arrogance caused him to act in a manner that preceded his arrest. I have no doubt that his general silence to the press, aside from his recent apology, are sincere, and are due to his personal acknowledgement that he "screwed up – big time". Blaming the hardcore county sheriff and his staff seems kinda naive.
Here's a trivia question that's kinda fun. Who is the last person that Dale Sr. gave the finger to? Answer; Kurt Busch. In the early laps of his last race. Daytona 2/01. I have the visual evidence as "wallpaper" on my computer.
