Overlooking The Obvious

Here is a very clear sign we are once again becoming complacent to the circumstances befalling our great country.

It will serve as a living tribute. With each wind, each breeze, a set of chimes housed in a 93-foot tower will create a different song in memory of the 40 people who sacrificed their lives trying to save the lives of others.
It will serve as a living tribute alright, but to the wrong people. While many might think this is an oversight of gross proportions, I see it as nothing more than a deliberate slap in the face of the passengers of Flight 93, and to all Americans.
Is it a coincidence? The name, or the shape, or both? I doubt it’s a coincidence. In fact, I bet it’s anything but a coincidence. Artists, especially architects, know the power of symbolism in their designs. There is no doubt in my mind, when you take the shape and the title, “Crescent of Embrace”, into consideration, the designer of this “memorial” was trying to send a message. That message has been received.
Now I have a message for the designer. Embrace this.
For those of you who are staring blankly at the image above and are still clueless, take a look at this over at Real Clear Politics and tell me this is nothing more than a coincidence.
If the people of our great country keep trying to be “politically compassionate”, especially with projects like this, we won’t have to worry about an attack from others outside our country. There won’t be any country left to attack.
When we overlook “coincidences” like this, we overlook the real threat to America, and by doing so, we do a fine job of destroying ourselves.
