Beth Holloway Twitty Apologizes

Posted by Slobokan @ 17:09 · 192 words · print

The mother of an Alabama teenager who vanished in May apologized Friday for criticizing Aruban authorities’ handling of the investigation, saying she spoke out of fear and frustration following the release of two brothers who have been connected to the case.

Beth Holloway Twitty said she never intended to offend Arubans with her remarks Tuesday, which triggered a street protest from citizens frustrated with the negative attention on their Dutch Caribbean island.

"The statements I made on July 5 were fueled by fear and frustration," Holloway Twitty said at a news conference. "The Aruban people have been especially kind and generous and especially supportive. I would like to apologize to the Aruban people and the Aruban authorities."

Personally, I don't think she needed to apologize.

If an Aruban girl was missing here in the United States, we would never hear the end of it, if her relatives thought enough was not being done.

Then again, we probably wouldn't be getting 24/7 coverage of an Aruban girls' disappearance anyway…

Back to the apology

Notice she apologized to the Aruban people and the Aruban authorities, and NOT the Kalpoe brothers.

Now… Can we find Natalee please?

I have written many emails to I have written many emails to NPR and etc. suggesting people send emails to the government in Aruba using emails generated with a variation of the name "where is natalee@hotmail" or "where is natalee@yahoo" or "where is natalee@msn.com" or "where_is_nataleeXYZ@whatever.com". I haven't heard back from anyone. :-(

I'm not the type of person to write a diplomatic letter, mine would be a little too angry to use, but if anoyone out there has an idea please post and let's get going with it. ???

I think Beth Holloway had eve I think Beth Holloway had every right to go and confront Deepak kalpoe and if he did not have anything to hide he would have talk to Beth he knows that he hurt natalee and so did Joran Van Der Sloot and Deepak little brother everyone knows what went wrong on May 30 2005. The family needs to go to a physic and atleast give it a try and then go from there.!!!!!!!!!! I really do not know what is going through their minds right know because I have a 2 year old son and if something happened like that I do not think I wcould be this patient I would do more then confront!! Beth keep up the good work your handling this well!!!

It is unimaginable to have to It is unimaginable to have to go thru what the parents are going thru. All they want is their daughter back. I would have confronted the kalpoe brothers also. you would think if they were innocent of all things they would like to help out. insted they are silent and then get a PPO against her. Sounds like they have something to hide. innocent people don't act like that.

I could not begin to imagine I could not begin to imagine the pain that Beth Holloway Twitty is having to endure since her daughter went missing on May 30/005.

I do not believe any apologizes were in order, however, one must, even under the most dire of circumstances, be diplomatic. If the Arubian people were in the slightest way offended by her remarks, however trite it may seem, Beth did right by offering an apology. Albeit, she may not have felt the apology was necessary, she did manage to soothe the "savage beast"!

Some people in Aruba were marching with signs; this activity seems to have stopped since her apology was extended. As for apologizing to the two brothers, NEVER! Those two and Paul Van Der Sloot know where Natalee's body is lying or buried and they are as guilty as Joran to the murder Natalee Holloway.

Could someone please contact Could someone please contact Natalie's mom about this. All efforts seem to be going no where. I am a psychic detective fan and when there seems to be no other way, I would go to anyone who could help. I know Mr. Twitty mentioned that the family had been working with psychics. Well, anyway here is a list of psychics that I hope are still where I list them.
    1. Phil Jordan of Spencer, NY, Tioga County; contact Detective Dave Redsicker of the Spencer Police Dept. 2. Nancy Orlen Weber of Belvidere, New Jersey, Warren County; contact Warren County Sherrif Dept., Investigator, Dave Heater for help. 3. Nancy Myer of Chicago, IL; contact Detective Bill Johnston of Chicago Police Department or Detective Pat McCurlly.
    4. Noreen Ranier of Carmel, ND; contact Detective Bill Collins or Luckee Carey for help.
I hope someone will pass this on to Natalie's mom. Maybe they could give her some answers.
