Terri Schiavo Speaks
Drudge just played the audio recording of Bob Schindler speaking to his daughter, Terri Schiavo, at 3:55 on Friday afternoon, just two hours after her feeding tube had been removed.
Some are claiming the recording is a fake, but guess what? I have heard someone talk like that before. My sister-in-law April. When she has a hard seizure, or is sick, she moans and makes the exact same noises that Terri made on that tape. The only difference between April, who is mentally handicapped, but definitely not in a persistent vegetative state, and Terri Schiavo, is Terri says “daddy”, and April says “mommy”.
Any parent of a young child who has not yet mastered the art of communications, knows when they are sick, how they moan and they say “mommy” or “daddy”, looking for comfort.
If there was any doubt in my mind that Terri was not in PVS before (which there wasn’t) there definitely is no doubt in my mind now. Whether or not this tape was made last Friday, which I believe to be true, or two years ago, it proves that Terri Schiavo is not, and has not, been in a persistent vegetative state, and someone needs to answer for that.

Thank you for posting this a Thank you for posting this audio of Terry Schaivo’s vocalizations on response to her father’s voice. It was very moving. I find it hard to remain hopeful in her case when Mr. Schaivo and the judges and the courts are so heartless and so determined and so narrow-minded. I really hate finding out that so many people are so callous and heartless where the severely handicapped are concerned. The Bush effort has been strong but not yet strong enough. What more can they need to see an urgency to act more forceably in her behalf. Yhe lawyers for Micheal Schaivo are despicably the worst of humanity.The medical doctors who pronounced her vegetative are similarly ignorant and despicable. The world needs to heal the wounds .
