StarStruck? Imbecile!

Problem for Washington is that many Americans are starstruck, so that when Penn or Susan Sarandon or Robert Redford takes to the airwaves to blast Bush administration hawks, people take notice.

Only a dumb ass would listen to (and form an opinion of) the likes of Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon, Robert Redford, Ben Affleck, Barbra Streisand, Rob Reiner, Warren Beatty, Tim Robbins or any other person in "Hollywood" when it comes to matters of national security. Everyone knows they are experts, since they have ACTED in front of the camera for years.

No Hollywood stars were among the protesters, but rest assured, there will be plenty of them hitting the airwaves in the days to come: They'll be taking issue with the Bush administration's Iraq campaign and waging their own war to win the hearts and minds of audiences everywhere.

Exactly. "Let's perform so well that we SWAY the morals of our country.

A Celebration Of Family…

Today marks the beginning of Kwanzaa. Happy Kwanzaa to those who celebrate it (and even those of you who might be offended, too bad).

Yet Another Saudi Stupidity.

If you haven't seen this article, you should make sure to read it.

In a letter this past June, Hunter told Pipes that it was "the duty of the foreign service director of personnel to screen all Foreign Service officers applying for service in the KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and to `tick' Jewish officers' names using the letter `J' next to their names, so that selection panels would not select Jewish diplomats for service in Saudi Arabia."

Our "friends" sure have a way with people don't they?

Hop on over to ***Dave's blog and read what he had to say, I think he summed it up best.

Silicone Celebration!

Finally, a GOOD and USEFUL purpose for silicone:

A Brazilian woman, shot in crossfire between police and drug dealers, was saved by her silicone breast implants. When she got to a nearby hospital doctors realised her implants had stopped the bullet entering her body further.

And she was even luckier than she thought:

A plastic surgeon was called in to fix the damage and took the opportunity to increase the size of Mrs Soares' breasts with more silicone.

How coincidental!
