It's a bird, It's a plane…

Nope… It's a bird alright

"As I was driving to work on Bodenburg Loop in Palmer I saw a huge object in the sky looking like it was coming in for a landing," the person wrote. "As I got closer and it came across the river and got lower, I realized that it was not a plane but a very, very large bird."

You decide.

The most trusted man in America speaks.

Walter Cronkite, the veteran newsman who covered almost every major world event that took place during his six-decade career, on Sunday warned that if the United States takes action against Iraq without support from the United Nations it could set the stage for World War III.

Pretty scary stuff, in fact, what this really means is,

?That means we don?t have a democracy,? he said. ?We?ve got an oligarchy here, not a democracy. Our democracy is in some danger if we don?t concentrate on educating the populace.?

Read it for yourself. He makes some very good points.

He's a good man.

On Friday night, when the Chechen gunmen in the Moscow theater gave President Vladimir Putin a deadline of Saturday to give a commitment to end Russian military operations in their country, the Russian president faced two choices: give in and open negotiations, or take a dangerous gamble. He chose the gamble — and it seems to have paid off.

Putin decided to act because the prospect of a series of hostage executions carried out by Chechen militants in his own capital was politically unacceptable.

I personally, think Putin is a man of great character. I don't know about the nerve gas rumors though.

Surely they wouldn't, would they?

Footage aired on independent television in Georgia shows doctors reputedly with hospitals in Moscow saying the several dozen hostages who died in Saturday's dramatic rescue were poisoned by the gas Russian forces used to wrest control of the Chechen-held theater.

The doctors in the footage described the gas as being a neuro-paralyzing agent, one that disables the body's nervous system. The description contrasts with other reports that described it as a sleeping gas.

Then again, 30 minutes later the terrorists were going to start shooting hostages. What would you have done? Me? I don't know. That's why I am NOT the President of any country at this time. Too heavy…

Drudging Up.

Now this is good. The so-called "responsible media" has had the followign opinion of Matt Drudge:

They said, "Matt, you have no filter or training. You just put raw information out there. It's irresponsible! People read your website and they get a totally incorrect view and idea of what's going on, because we haven't processed it first."

Well, Rush Limbaugh has a good response about "mainstream media". Read Up.
