Successful Upgrades.

Well, the burning of the CD’s (using NERO) went very well, in fact, It took less than an hour and a half (and that ain’t bad for my mobile USB CD Burner) hehe.
The Mandrake 8.2 upgrade went very smooth. As did the upgrade for Xchat (for IRC), Mozilla, Evolution (email) and Star Office.
If you have a second computer sittin around, and you wanna learn something new, you should install Linux (any flavor will do, although Mandrake is very easy to install).
In fact, I am slowly “moving” all of my “casual” computing to the Linux machine so I get used to using it. This way I will learn as I go.

I too am beginning to dip my I too am beginning to dip my toes into the Linux world. However I am using the latest Redhat release.
Interesting change after using Microsoft for 14 years….
