I must say I am surprised. Actually, elated. The Nevada boxing commission took a stand, and actually had the backbone to remain standing. WOOHOO.

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 29 ? Mike Tyson was knocked out of a rich fight against Lennox Lewis in this gaming capital when he was denied a license Tuesday after a sometime contentious hearing.

Of course, Tyson said, ?I?m no Mother Teresa,? Tyson said. ?I?m not Charles Manson either. Just treat me equal." hahaha… Yeah, those are good examples of equals. hahaha…

The best part, showing his true personality, after acting so "goody goody" was,
Asked if he thought there would be a fight somewhere on April 6, Tyson said, ?No, it doesn?t look like there?ll be a fight. I don?t know. I think Lennox is a coward. I?m going to fight him any time I see him in the street.?

Yeah, Lennox is the coward. He often sits in front of the Nevada State Gaming Commission telling them that he is not a maniac, nor an animal, that he is not on medication, and that his temper is not out of control.

Get a life, Mike. You were going to lose anyway.

I am watching the Nevada Athletic Commission hearing to decide whether or not to allow Mike Tyson to fight in Las Vegas on April 6th. haha.

One of the commissioners, Mrs. Ayoub, was quite thorough at informing Mr. Tyson that she does not think he is a victim of his circumstances, and then he responds, "M'am, what is your last name?", she tells him, and he says, "Well, M'am, you don't know me. You don't know my horror stories". hahahaha…

It's good to see a good comedy on CNN. haha…

Not much going on today, just waiting for the State Of The Union address tonight starring President Bush and the Three Stooges (Daschle, Gephart, and Lieberman). haha. It should be interesting.

I see on the news there is a bank standoff in California. Imagine that, bank robbers living in sunny California. Hmm. Now THAT is breaking news.

It is 75 degrees here today, and something tells me we are going to have a cold cold cold time ahead. (Even if it is only for a day or two).

Don't we have better things to waste American tax dollars on?

Since the Justice Department building was constructed in the 1930's there have been two half-naked statues in the Great Hall. The female being the Spirit of Justice and the male being the Majesty of Justice. They have ALWAYS been there, even when former Attorney General Edwin Meese presented the final report of his commission on pornography, they were there. They have ALWAYS been there when announcements were made in the Great Hall.

Now, they are draped. For $8,000 in taxpayer money, our current Attorney General, John Ashcroft has decided they should not be seen. Nice eh? That ONE man could decide how OUR building should look… He is one of millions of taxpayers that pay to operate that building, just ONE.

I think we should all band together and DEMAND the drapes be torn down, and $8,000 be held from Mr. Ashcroft's salary to repay the taxpayers for the inconvenience.

Why? Because…

The Palestinians attack the way they do because it is easier to SNEAK into the crowded main street of Jerusalem which was filled with pedestrians and traffic and kill an innocent 81 year old man and injure dozens more, than it is to stand up in a civilized way for what you believe in.

At least some people within our goverment are beginning to tell it like it is, "Special U.S. peace envoy Anthony Zinni described the Palestinian leader as a liar and mafia boss, Israeli newspapers reported Sunday." Then there is this one, "This attack this morning is just one more instance that proves that there is no effective control of the terrorist attacks that are being launched against Israel," Vice President Cheney said on Fox News Sunday. "We've got to see some positive results out of Arafat".

Now, I for one agree that the Palestinians need their own state. They need a place to call home. As I understand it, there is a nice little corner of Afghanistan that could use a population base right now. Heck, the Palestinians would probably feel right at home.
