A veiled response.

Can you believe the woman in Florida who has “sued the state for suspending her driver’s license after she refused to remove her face-covering veil for the photograph.” haha… Normally, I am not one to mess with someone’s heritage, but the Florida law does state that licenses must contan “a color photographic or digital imaged driver’s license bearing a full-face photograph“. Granted, someone in the Department of Motor Vehicles screwed up in February by permitting her to wear her veil, BUT, that does not mean she now has the right to wear it for the photograph. She states,”I don’t show my face to strangers or unrelated males“.

I bet she would show it fast if she won the lottery, needed an organ donation, or got arrested.

What bothers me the most is her position that she has a right to remain hidden until proven visible. haha. If she wishes to remain veiled then she has no business driving, unless of course she rides a motorcycle. Wait. Does a veil constitute protective headgear? Hmm. Wait. That’s a totally different argument.
