DRIVE SAFE AND WATCH OUT!

It is New Year's Eve and tonight you will probably have the yearning to partake of alcohol, but before you do, please look at these photos.

The FBI released photographs of five men Sunday in hopes they would be recognized. However, bureau spokesman Ed Cogswell acknowledged the FBI is not certain the names and birth dates released with the photos are correct, or that the men even entered the country.

If you see ANY of these men, please contact your nearest FBI office (I am sure you can call your local police too, and they will assist in connecting you to the FBI).

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Driving Miss Ross (hic).

I find this a little bit odd.

Pop Diva Diana Ross was arrested on suspicion of extreme DUI early Monday after someone alerted police to a vehicle that was swerving on Tucson's eastside.

Officers stopped Ross at 12:37 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Sabino Canyon approaching Tanque Verde roads at 12:37 a.m. after receiving a call that a white car was swerving. "It came in as a traffic hazard call," Altieri said.

The reason I find this odd, is, if I were to call my local police at, say, 12:15 a.m. and tell them I saw a white car swerving on the highway near my home, I would be willing to bet the police WOULD NEVER LOCATE THE VEHICLE, since I would be in a stationary location and the vehicle could turn at any number of streets.

Yeah, she was set up (I am not saying innocent, I am sure she was WAY drunk). I am sure it was a set up (either that or Tuscon police are REALLY on the ball watching for white cars).

AIDS UPDATE

The gathering of information about the only Aids vaccine to go through the final phase of a clinical trial is expected to finish within days so that the findings can be made public early in the new year.

Let's all hope they find some very encouraging resutls in the data.

Don Francis, the president of Vaxgen, said that even a 30 per cent reduction in infection rates would be deemed an important step forward because some epidemiologists believe that such a partially effective vaccine could eventually curb the epidemic if it were used for mass vaccination.

Yes, the same Don Francis who worked for the CDC in the early days of AIDS research. With Dr. Francis at the helm I bet they will get something done.

Umm.. Hello?? DUH!!!

According to a Reuter's report,

Britain may impose emergency cordons around London and other major cities to stop people fleeing after a biological terror attack, The Sunday Times reported. The cordons would be enforced by the military and police to prevent people spreading infection to other parts of the country.

Pardon me for sounding like a complete moron, but,

ISN'T THAT WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DO WHEN SOMETHING LIKE THAT HAPPENS?

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Airport Insecurities

Travelling this holiday season? Make sure you read this BEFORE you leave for the airport.

(And you all wonder why I refuse to fly anymore).
